Spring bolts are used most frequently to secure single hung lower sash. The bolts are used in pairs and are slipped into 3/8″ diameter holes drilled through the lower stiles and engage holes drilled into the window jamb. These brass spring bolts can also be used in a variety of situations where a sash or screen needs to be easily removable, such as with outswing casement windows. The turned brass bolt has an attractive spade shaped finial that affords a secure and comfortable grip.
SRS bolts are solid brass with a stainless steel spring. The stainless steel spring prevents any corrosion and assures trouble-free service. These spring bolts are available in Lacquered Brass, Unlacquered Brass, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Satin Nickel and Polished Nickel finishes.
